The Pacific Northwest Campus (PNWC) is part of the five-campus system of Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, one of six Southern Baptist seminaries in the United States, and the tenth largest seminary overall in the U.S. Our regional campus is fully accredited to offer the Master of Divinity, Master of Theological Studies, and Diploma in Theology degrees. Students may also earn most of the credits toward other Golden Gate degrees at the PNWC, but will need to take some courses online or at the Northern California Campus.
The PNWC is blessed by very supportive partners. The Northwest Baptist Convention provides essential funding through its annual budget and also shares its headquarters with the PNWC for its offices, classrooms, library, and student center. The Northwest Baptist Foundation manages several trusts that benefit the work of the PNWC, including a large pool of scholarship funds that further ease our already low tuition cost. In turn, we educate and train the called for more effective ministry service in the Northwest and around the world. Our graduates comprise a significant portion of the ministry leadership of the Northwest Baptist Convention and many of our current students are serving in NWBC churches and ministries while they pursue their degrees.
We continue to schedule the majority of our courses on Mondays and Tuesdays in Vancouver so that students may spend the remainder of the week in their places of ministry. We also offer some one-week courses in January and other courses on an intensive schedule (for example, two full days of class twice in a semester). |
